Join us for themed stories, songs, and activities for ages 0-6. No registration necessary for story hour.

Tuesday, December 13, 6-8pm: Drop-in Rock Painting
Free and fun, this drop-in program for adults is a relaxing way to spend a few minutes (or the evening). Chat with friends as you paint wonderful designs on smooth rocks to take home and decorate with or give as gifts. All materials provided.

Wednesday, December 14, 3-4pm: LEGO Club Ages 6+ enjoy themed Lego play after school. Please register.

Thursday, December 15, 3:15-4:30pm: Chess Club continues for those registered.

Saturday, December 17, 9-11am: Tech Help: How to back up data onto the cloud.
Come at 9am for small group learning about backing up data onto the cloud securely and/or stay for individual tech questions from 10-11am. You can ask any tech question and/or bring in a device with which you need help. You will be ably assisted by our techie, Josiah.

Thursday, October 27, 6-8pm: Eddy Family of Spirit Mediums: Fact and Fiction
Last year we learn about the Eddy Family from local historian Jason Smiley.  He returns this year to refresh us on the legends of this spooky Vermont family, and to dive into the theories behind some of their most renown performances, including the “Devil’s Cabinet”. Recommended for teens and adults.

Monday, October 31: 5-7pm: Trick or Treat at the Library
The library will be open to trick-or-treaters.  Come in your costume and get your picture taken! (Bathrooms also available.)

This painting party is for children and youth ages 8+.  These budding artists will create glow-in-the-dark paintings of flowers and fireflies. Led by Julie Griffis of Blue Jay Creative Common.  Cost is $25 for materials and snacks. Must register.

Saturday, September 24: 10-11:30am: NEW! SciFi/Fantasy Book Group
Explore new worlds with this brand new book group. Coffee and snacks provided. Our first book pick will be Six of Crows by Leigh Barduro.  Limited copies available at the library, additional digital copies available on ListenUp Vermont or purchase your own. We will also vote on a fun name for our group.

Library Announcements / Read and Win day at the Fair today

Today (August 29th) is the day the Champlain Valley Fair is letting in students for free who have read three books over the summer and received a ribbon from the library. There are still a few ribbons left. There is a ceremony at noon when the children will receive a free ride ticket, book, and creamee voucher. See you at the Fair!
