              Hello,

I am running for the 3 year seat on the Selectboard and wanted to give those of you who don’t know me a little info about myself.
.              I grew up on a dairy farm in Williston where my father was very involved in local politics. After The farm I went to VTC and 4 years overseas in the Army. I then
moved to Los Angeles to further my college/construction career. After 8 years working the west coast as a construction manager I worked my way east to
Chicago. Spending 3 years working the mid-west, it was time to move back to Vermont. I started Fontaine Construction in 1998 as a General Contractor.
I have lived in Fairfax for 14 years with my wife Randie, we have two boys Raymond (9) and Bryce (7). I have been involved with the community for some time
now as a youth coach, cub scouts, and charity events ect.. It has been a pleasure living here meeting so many great people and forging new relationships.

Being involved in the construction industry for over 25 years has taken me in front of a lot of town boards. I have also sat on a design board in Williston during
the late 90’s. I believe my experience would contribute something to the Town and Selectboard.    Thank You

To all of those running, Good Luck!!

               Sincerely
               Tom Fontaine
