There was BFP story (or maybe a WCAX) that showed cars dust covered and parked in handicapped spots at the garage. Apparently its free parking for the handicapped, some of the "snowbirds" would park there cars there for LONG periods of time.

I have to chime in here too. I am 1200 miles from "home", and I check in here a number of times a day. The postings are great....one request? Bullets sports scores and game recaps. The BFP doesn't always have them.

The last of the snow here in middle Tennessee is finally gone. The area got anywhere from 6-10 inches. Schools in some of the more rural counties are still closed. Its understandable as the equipment here isn't equipped to handle it all. I heard on the local news that there we only 30 vehicles to handle 5000 miles of roads. And that was for just the metro Nashville area. And some of the vehicles are not even dump trucks w/plows.

Curfews in my opinion do no good. Yes, the "good kids" will follow it. But, the "bad ones" wouldn't (thusly why they are the bad ones..).
And the same for the ATVs, honest law abiding people already know and follow the laws for them. An ordinance would mean nothing for the "lawbreakers".

To comment on how small the BFP is, I think it is papers over all. The Tennessean (which serves metro Nashville pop:1.5 million roughly and a circulation of 170000) is equally as small as the BFP sometimes. The Sunday edition is no bigger than the Sunday BFP, and most of it is advertisements and sale papers. Ironically they are both owned by Gannett.....
