Same for Chaffee Rd, part of the road has washed away and left holes on the side of the road, closest to Shepardsons Hollow Rd.  Still passable but be careful and slow down

General Discussion / Re: Anyone need their lawns cleaned up?

My lawn is a mess, I may be interested in getting a quote from him Molly...do you know if he would be using a sweeper to do this task...hopefully its not by hand, for this gravel/rock is quite heavy also it would be very time consuming as well.

Amazing Technology indeed.  And this happened in 2007?!?  Atleast thats the date ID I see on the article?  Imagine where we are today.  At that point Cisco already performed 28K meetings this way?  WOW
Pretty soon this will be integrated into games and our kids play today as well as taken down many other avenues I imagine.  Amazing, amazing stuff...thank you for sharing

I agree....great pickup by Sox, seems like a lot of $$ but if we didnt do it someone else would have.  To have another potential base stealer as well is huge, and to have one if not THE best, .300+ hitter ....A+ Theo

Reviews / 'Con'Cast
« on: December 03, 2010, 09:18:12 AM »
So a few months back I posted that I was getting Comcast finally and was excited to get it because of the higher speeds of internet and the other services they provide.  A few of you told me that the customer service was terrible but my salesman was so convincing that I would get great service, I went through with the install.  THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE that keeps happening like groundhog day.  They had to come back a second time to fix the phone line because it wasnt done correctly, per their technician, we opened up 4 different tickets with customer service because they kept on saying that they were closed so therefore thought the work was done......YES 4!!  So where are we now??.......Comcast STILL has not come to do the groundwork for the line coming to our house.  The pole is in my neighbors yard and they were nice enough to allow ConCast to place a "temporary" line in their yard.  Well after many, many, many phone calls, talking with managers promising phone calls back, that were never received, we still have yet to get this resolved.  Being in the telecom business I know that digging at this time of yr is probably out of the question.  Sooooo it looks like Concast already lost a customer, we will be cancelling this service and not returning.  Dont they know customer service goes a long way in a service business?!?!

So I was on old Stage Rd heading to Essex last night and coming the other way were multiple fire trucks as well as multiple ambulances...anyone know what transpired if anything?  Seemed like a lot of noise, was expecting something big to be reported?

Would anyone know where I could get a recycle bin to put out each trash day?  I have been putting my things in a box each week but I think its time to get the real thing ; )    Is there a cost?  Is it possible to get 2?  Thank you all

I'm looking fwd to the higher internet speeds, for both, my wife and I work from home from time to time.

HC-so you are the ones he was talking about when he said people on our road already had service, we had no idea they were in our area.
