ST. ALBANS TOWN, Vt. - A driver has been hospitalized after rolling a vehicle in St Albans Town.

The accident happened this evening on Route 104 near the Fairfax town line. Police say the driver rolled the car at least once and went off the road into nearby trees. At this time, the drivers identity has not been released. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

We have several that we took to the waste recycle today and were told that some towns, including Fairfax, don't take them but some towns do. Does anyone know where we can take them to be recycled?

A beautiful chocolate lab with red collar and a small tan dog, apparantly buddies are roaming River Rd. heading in the direction of the village. I don't know if they escaped or on the loose frequently. I thought if someone was looking for them they might want to know.

Current News & Events / Fairfax Woman dies from Injuries

COLCHESTER, Vt. - A Fairfax woman died yesterday, ten days after being thrown from her car during a crash on Interstate 89.

The accident happened May 29 near Exit 16 in Colchester.

Police say Lee Buik-Denizot was headed north on the interstate when she drove off her car off the road and it rolled several times.

The 60-year-old was not wearing a seat belt.

She underwent emergency surgery but passed away yesterday at Fletcher Allen Healthcare.

A black sports car just pulled up in my driveway when I was on the porch. A male passenger approached with a magazine and bible in hand with a grin on his face that would light up a room. After saying "Hellooooooo", I informed him I wasn't interested and promptly went inside and locked the door.

Mark and I just saw the space station flying overhead again. It is in a more North Easterly path than when last seen. So cool to see it so low and making no noise at all!

General Discussion / Scarey situation!

This morniing I found fist sized burned ember ashes all over my back patio blown in from someones bonfire last evening. When i went out front both cars were covered in ash.  Please be responsible burning in open air especially when the wind is blowing and make sure your fire is out before leavng it for the night. Thank goodness we have metal roofs on 90% of our house!

Sitting on my front porch just now and noticed hug plumes of black smoke over towards Essex. Anyone heard of one?
