Henry, if no one comes forward I know that the American Legion out in St. Albans will dispose of them. We take all of the old cemetery flags to them after we put up the new ones each spring. If no one is there you can leave them in a bag at the door.

Yes, it is looking down Maple St. Every Sat night we went there to get groceries as well as getting our meat out of the locker. Of course I was just a kid then, but this is the store front I remember so well. It was a family outing to get groceries. As some would say those were the good ole days! Occasionally my folks would by ice cream for a treat. My mother made it all the time, but of course the store bought stuff was a treat and today it certainly would be the reverse. Thanks for sharing the picture. I miss seeing that store front there.

I learned at church this morning that the dog and owner have been reunited. The kind of outcome that we like. Thanks to this forum.

Ours was picked up early afternoon with one truck instead of two having to travel the roads and they were hustling. Boy what a cold job today.

I had not been on 128 since the construction started until today. All the comments kept me off from it. Was happily surprised - all paved but about a 1/4 mile in the south bound lane. Commuters will have good driving this winter/spring. I am sure they won't miss the frost heaves!! Our tax dollars did a good job. Thank you!!
