As Justin can attest to, if there are no reported injuries or property damage (other than the vehicle involved), many times law enforcement won't rush to the scene.  They will first attending to more critical calls.

Glad to hear Rex is doing okay.  My wife and I have no kids, but our pets are like kids.  2 cats and dog....and that little dog is smarter then some kids I knew...including me!

And I think Anthonys pick of the mighty Mississippi, was near Memphis, Tenn.....

I remember the old fire station, having just joined the rescue squad.  Backing the ambulance in and out of the bay was a bear!  Had about 1 or 2 inches on each side of the mirriors!

Well wishes from Tennessee Mike!  You need to get back soon so I don't go into picture withdrawls!

Thanks Joanne....I miss the scenery after snow storms, but not the snow.  :)

Mike,
I can tell you 27 feels cold even for transplants.  Depsite the fact I have been in the mid south for a little under a year, you get into the mind set that it supposed to be warm.  The snow is starting to melt here, and it is supposed to be in the upper 40s for the rest of the week.

Old Jean-Paul....Reminds me of a story.
I was working a race on the seacost in New Hampshire, started talking to a guy there, mentioned I normally worked T-Road. He asked if I knew J-P, I said no, but I had heard of him.  He then told me that he J-P went way back, and that old J-P was quite the ladies man, and has a few "dependants" in other parts New England.  Apprently the "friendly" ladies would come to the track to see the old Racin' Canuck!  And I guess he always friendly right back.

WOW! Great shots Mike!  Makes me miss (even more) working for Speedway Safety at T-Road! I sure miss that job....in my opinion one of the best part time jobs to have!

I guess I have to ask....why the interstate?  Aren't there enough other roads?  I know I'd love to go down French Hill (Rte.2) on a sled.  Just the climb back up that would be bad.

Thanks Mike!  Great pics, makes me miss the snow a little bit.  We may get some snow here in middle Tennessee this week, of course no where near like that!

Not much better weather here in middle Tennessee.  About 25 degrees and snow flurries.....only thing here is that if we were getting the same as in Farifax, the stores would be mobbed with people buying milk, bread and eggs.

Does the green have a Nativity scene?

Anyone else find it ironic that Mr. Brown now spends the winters in Florida?
