SATURDAY MORNING AT THE WAL-MART PARKING LOT

After the Friday night race at Granby, a lot of teams head over to a Wal-Mart parking lot nearby. There is a hotel next door, but those with camper/haulers, just stay in the campers. The next morning, the cars are unloaded and worked on before loading back up and heading north to Drummondville. I had never stayed overnight like this before, so it was my first time.
Usually there is some partying going on until the wee hours of the morning, and since I don't drink, I got a room at the Hotel Castel.
Saturday morning there was plenty to do, so when I wasn't helping, I snapped a few pictures.
Sometimes the women will do some shopping in Wally World and the mall next door.
OK, so did I.
What is also neat, is a lot of onlookers pass by, looking at the cars and whatnot. I struck up a conversation with one fellow, and come to find out, he used to go to Catamount Stadium back in the day and actually remembered Hector LeClair, Anthony's grandfather.
