NEW COMPUTER
Well, I went down to Best Buy and ended up getting a new computer. No, it's not hooked up yet. That will take a little doing, so it may not happen for a couple of days. Very simple, but it has a 2GB RAM. Windows 7, so Margie says I will have a steep learning curve compared to the XP that I am using now.
But I do know one thing.......

I WANT AN iPAD.
Seriously.
Works like my iPhone but can't make calls.
I was waiting to finalize the computer with the salesman, but he was with another customer, and there was an iPad free to play with on the counter so I did. Wow. I did come on Henry's site. Looked at a couple of pictures in my blog and pics of the bridge being laid in. Wow.
So simple to use.
I want one.

    cool pics mike  also if you want an ipad get one and be thankful you have no children cause they would get one first.  my daughter turns 18 today and graduates next saturday then off to lyndon state in august so im sure she will be getting more toys soon take care mike love your stuff keep up the good work

Wait...ASUS is coming out with their version of an Ipad.....Windows based.
May be around Christmas..but still.

We got an Ipad at work, it was "cool" but not very functional. For work.

I am posting this from an ASUS netbook from my back deck.
Sad to say, but Windows based products are better.

I would wait and see what shakes out.
The technology changes everyday.

We may be entering a time like back in the mid-to-late 90's when technology was changing so fast, you buy a computer and in 6 months it was obsolete. I have an iPhone, but newer ones have come out twice or more in the last year. I'm sure the iPad will be the same. Handheld devices are rapidly changing. We are quickly heading to those Star Trek tri-corders that scan things and even scan you for vital signs.
