OK, anybody have a suggestion on how to clean my lawn mower deck on my John Deere without driving it up on a couple of planks and laying down on the ground and using a big screwdriver to scrape the packed grass off from underneath - There has to be an easier way.

This won't work till after you clean it....but I read somewhere spraying Pam (or some other brand) non stick spray will stop the grass from sticking.

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

You did give me an idea Ed - Now if I could just find a right angle attachment to put on my garden hose, I might just be able to do that right here at home
