I called Fairpoint E-Mail and Internet technical support, and spoke to a gentleman named Issac. I read him the e-mail over the phone and he verified that it IS a fake. Fairpoint already has my e-mail address and password. He then check their Abuse Center, and this e-mail had already been reported to them and they are working on it. If you get this e-mail, just delete it.

I spoke with the "Live Chat" desk on www.myfairpoint.net about the same e-mail.
The first red flag was the sender: MYFAIRPOINT.NET (all in caps)
I called my 8 year old over and showed it to him.
He said "Don't open it !"
I'm proud of my sons.

Take Care & God Bless,
