The usual ones will be there.
On August 18, it will say-
Fairfax Chartered, 1763.
January 17-BFA burns, 1941
March 4-Vermont becomes 14th State, 1791
February 13-Hiram Bellows born, 1798
And of course-
December 24-Steeple Market burns, 2008.
I have been able to find quite a few dates.
And I am looking for more.
Like............................
When was the Fairfax Patriots organized? When was their first game?
When was the Knights of Columbus formed in town?
The Masons?

And by the way, if you want to see old pictures of Fairfax, pop over to the Fairfax Community Library Saturday at 1pm. We will be looking over some of our collection to decide on which ones to put in the calendar.
