Top Gear was two hours last night, and I went to bed right afterwards(1am).
Slept in, and now here I am.
I did my taxes online this past weekend. Second year in a row.
Everything was all well and good, until it came time to do the State taxes. The online service, which was FREE last year, now charge $19.95 to do the state taxes.
Sigh.
Used to pay A LOT more to hire someone to pay to do them, so I bit the bullet.
When all was done and came time to pay, I had a choice:
Pay by credit card, or have it taken out of my refund.
If I had it taken out of my refund..........
THERE WOULD BE A $29.95 FEE!!!!!
Needless to say, I had to pay by credit card.
Try to figure out something different for next year.
I went through the IRS last year. They pointed me through a service.
I got e-mails from the service after the first of the year, so I went through a link in the e-mail.
Back to the IRS next year.
