Picture of the Day March 22, 2009
United ChurchHISTORICAL SOCIETYPosted for Sunday March 22nd......................Now that winter is pretty much over, and I am slowly coming out of hibernation mode, I need to start thinking about the Fairfax Historical Society again.
Our Pie and Ice Cream Social will be Sunday evening, June 28th at 7pm on the front lawn of the Baptist Building.
We will be producing a calendar for 2010. Our next meeting will be the weekend of April 4/5, probably at the Fairfax Community Library. I am toying with the idea of a Saturday afternoon meeting, maybe to attract more people. Sundays seem to be a busy day.
I need to confer with the Library, and certain people to set up the LCD projector. We will spend most of the time looking at photographs to start choosing pictures for the calendar.
I should be able to make an announcement in a day or two.
