SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 11/15/16 at approximately 1815 hours the Vermont State Police were notified of a two vehicle crash on Route 104 in Fairfax, VT.  The operator of the at fault vehicle identified as Kenneth Noyes, age 40 of Essex, said that he had not realized the vehicle in front of him had stopped due to a traffic jam up ahead.  Noyes said that by the time he realized the vehicle had stopped he was unable to avoid a collision and thus hit the rear of said vehicle.  The subsequent investigation yielded Noyes to have been operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.  Noyes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for DUI processing.  At the conclusion of the processing Noyes was released on citation to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/28/16 to answer to the charge of DUI.
