CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Cambridge VT

 SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 10/4/16 at approximately 1935 hours, VSP Williston received an E 911 call about a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a horse on Upper Pleasant Valley Rd. in the Town of Cambridge.  Per the 911 caller no one was injured.

 Upon arrival, investigation revealed the crash occurred at approximately 1850 hrs. when Vehicle #1, operator by Connolly, was traveling northbound on Upper Pleasant Valley Road, near the Guillemette Farm, when she crested the hill and observed two works horses being walked by Bartlett in the northbound lane.

 Connolly advised she swerved into the southbound lane to avoid hitting them but her passengers side mirror did hit one of the horse's upper left thigh area as she passed.

Vermont State Police are still investigation this incident and encourage anyone who may have seen this crash occur to call Cpl. LeBlanc at the Williston State Police Barracks at (802) 878-7111
