This Week at the Library

Happy New Year Everyone! We're having lots of great programs for all ages this week:

Tuesday, January 6, 9:30 - 10:30: Story Hour: Things That GO! Join us for stories, songs, crafts and activities for ages 0 to 6.

Tuesday, January 6, 3:00 - 4:15: Chess Club continues for those registered.

Tuesday, January 6, 6:00 – 8:00: Game Night. Ages 5 and up enjoy all kinds of tabletop games. Feel free to bring a favorite game, or come play one of ours.

Wednesday, January 7, 3:15 – 4:15: R.E.A.D. to a Dog. Kids ages 5-10 can read a book of their choice to a fuzzy, friendly dog. Must pre-register. Each slot is 15 minutes.

Thursday, January 8, 6:00 – 7:00: PJ Story Hour. Co-sponsored by Building Bright Futures.

Thursday, January 8, 6:30 – 8:00: Non-Fiction Book Discussion Group. This month’s selection is the thrilling “Devil in the White City”, by Erik Larson. Part true murder story, part history of Chicago in the late 19th century. Books available to borrow at the library.

Saturday, January 10, 10:00 – 12:00: Embroider a Patch for Your Jeans!
Learn some fun and easy stitches as you do crewel embroidery! Everything provided. Ages 9+. Must pre-register.
