Sally stopped in with some chicken pie for a very nice meal including dessert, Tom & Barb left me a package of homemade gingerbread cookies & Steve & Pauline dropped me off some cider doughnuts from Mazza's.  When we are younger, we don't realize how much these acts of kindness are appreciated by friends.  I am also very fortunate that my daughter Mary Kay lives next door & does so much for me.  This past Friday night, my grandson, Little Henry, drove up from Burlington to take me to St. Albans to pick up Mary Kay's Christmas gift.  Had a friend of mine tell me last week that their children don't even come to visit them & neither do their grandchildren.  How sad.  I am thinking, this is not really any big news to write on the forum, but it might just remind someone to do something nice for a neighbor, parent or grandparent.

I am just so grateful for all that is done for me.
