It's a busy week. Please note some programs are full, but we are happy to place you on a wait list. Call 849-2420 to register.

Tuesday, December 2, 9:30-10:30 am: Story Hour: Folk Tales! Join us for themed stories, songs, and activities for ages 0-6. No registration necessary for story hour.

Tuesday, December 2, 3:00 – 4:15 Winter CHESS CLUB starts.  Pre-registration required. Ages 6 and up. Must have basic knowledge of rules and moves. Chess club meets weekly throughout the winter, culminating in a tournament in mid-February. Beginners / younger players may leave at 3:45.

Tuesday, December 2, 6:00 – 8:00: GAME NIGHT!!  Final game night of 2014! Always a lot of fun for those ages 5 and up! Bring your favorite game to share, or play one of ours.

Thursday, December 4, 3:00 – 5:00: Card Making with Karen McNall.  Note the special after school time this month! Fee per card made $1.75 - $2.00. Come see the lovely samples at the library. Must pre-register.

Thursday, December 4, 3:15 – 4:15: R.E.A.D. to a Dog.  Kids ages 5-10 can read a book of their choice to a fuzzy, friendly dog. To sign-up for a 15-minute time slot, call or stop by. Appointments are currently full through December but we are happy to add you to a cancellation / waiting list.

Thursday, December 4, 6:00 – 7:00 PJ Story Hour. Bring the kids to this fun event. Hear a story and make a craft. All welcome! Thanks to Fairfax  Building Bright Futures for making this event possible!

Saturday, December 6, 10:00 – 12:00: Wreath Making with Helen Fersing! Bring the kids ages 10 and up. They love creating and decorating their own swags, while you make a wreath. Fee for materials payable to instructor at class: $15 for an undecorated wreath; $20 decorated. $12 for a swag with a bow.
