Dawson A.W. Mosher

Georgia - Dawson Allen-Wilfred Mosher, 19 months passed away at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 following a tragic accident at his home in Georgia. He was born in Burlington on October 19, 2011 son of Eric and Amber (Deavitt) Mosher. Dawson was a beautiful, bright, happy, baby boy who brought a lot of light and life to everyone who loved and knew him. He was always full of big beautiful smiles, and was so very smart. He loved to play with his big brother Robbie, he loved to read and watch Dora.

Dawson loved being outside, and playing soccer was one of his favorite things to do with Daddy. He loved spending his days with Mommy and his favorite words were "Hi Mommy, and mama. He gave the best hugs, and the best kisses. He loved reading dirt bike magazines, and knew every sound effect to go with it. He also loved tractors, and loved spending his time riding the John Deere in the front yard with Daddy. Dawson was fearless, and was quick to catch on to anything that involved climbing and driving. He loved riding his four wheeler that big brother taught him to do. Dawson loved people, he loved making new friends, and everyone who was lucky enough to meet him, knew just how special he was. He was so perfect in so many ways, and his family very much looks forward to being reunited with him some day. Until then, he is with some very special angels above, and he will be the most beautiful angel that God could be blessed with, and that we are fortunate enough to have. Dawson will live on through the lives that he was able to give pieces of himself to, and in the hearts and memories of all.

He is survived by his parents Eric and Amber Mosher; of Georgia and his Big Brother Robbie; Paternal grandparents Dave and Dorene Mosher; of Milton; Maternal grandparents Keith and Amy Deavitt; of South Burlington; his Uncle Nick Deavitt; Aunt Brenna Deavitt; of South Burlington and many other cousins, aunts and uncles as well as many great grandparents, from several different states.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday May 5, 2013 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax, VT 05454. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at United Church of Fairfax with Reverend Elizabeth Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Lukes Cemetery, Fairfax. Memorial contributions in Dawson’s memory may be made by gifting a “John Deere” toy in Dawson’s memory. Any John Deere toy received at either Chapel of A. W. Rich Funeral Home will be donated to Toys For Tots in Dawson’s memory so that other children may share the same excitement as Dawson. The family invites you to share your memories and condolences by visiting www.awrfh.com.

There has been a fund set up for the family.

The Moshers jumped right into being a part of our community - Running the community playgroup, gathering all the names for me of everyone who registered for the community egg hunt, my heart is just breaking for them.

And the very best fund we can set up is to be loving, supportive and present to Erik and Amber as they deal with this tragic event.
