I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I can donate some dresses.  I have 2 prom dresses and 3 bridesmaid dresses that are sitting in my closet and would like to give them to someone who can't afford a dress to prom or special occasion.

Perhaps contact the school nurse; she might know someone....

I briefly heard something on the Channel 3 news this morning about Melissa's Closet.  Melissa Jenkin's sister opened a store in her honor and is donating prom dresses to needy teenagers.  Don't know all the details.

I believe Camp Tah-Kum-Tuh will take them. They have a Prom each summer for their campers and a crew of people that fit the dresses to the girls who attend.
