Had some heavy cream left over so daughter Lynn made one of my Dad's favorite cakes - Made from scratch white cake with whipped cream between the layers and on top

Mom use to go to the milk house once in a while and skim some cream off, then would make a white cake.  What  a treat.

That is what this is Lena - I was surprised when Lynn told me she was making it from scratch and it was a white cake - She got the recipe from my mother.
