At approximately 8:10 pm on Saturday 12/04/2010 Vermont State Police
and Vermont Fish and Wildlife received a report of a missing hunter.
Scott Mackey, age 61 of Calais, VT was reportedly dropped off in North
Calais at 04:45 and was supposed to meet the rest of his hunting party
at 11:00 am. Mackey never arrived at the designated location and has
not been heard from. He was last seen wearing a green wool coat, green
pants and an orange cap. He is 5'8" and 150 LBS. Game wardens,
troopers and search dogs have searched through the night. Anyone
who may have seen Scott Mackey is asked to call the
Vermont State Police at 802-229-9191. No photo is available at this time.
The Vermont State police command post is set up at the Calais Town office
