Well, so far we haven't lost our power, although there is an occasional slight blip.  According to our Fairfax Weather Station, we did have a 46 MPH gust of wind at 9:11 a.m. and I did see CVPS go up by towards Fletcher earlier this morning.

I have been checking my e-mail for Marie Paul Langelier's obituary, but it could be late tonight before I receive it, so it won't be in today's Messenger.

Just got a 50 MPH at 10:45 - They say the wind gusts will peak this afternoon.

The wind is crazy out there!  There will be a lot of people picking up their recycling on their lawns, ditches, or at their neighbor's house tonight. Stuff was flying everywhere when I went down the road to work.

Yup, walking home from work I noticed the recycle bins were all over. One across the road at Swansons & Garbage/recycling all over Swanson's lawn. The Bins for our road were all blown down in the gully.

Some customers came into Steeple grabbing hot food saying their power is out. The lights flickered at Steeple a few times.
