If you commute or away from your home computer you can take your web browser links with you.


With a G-Mail account you have access to many many other applications.
I just exported my bookmarks on all 3 home computers as a HTML doc and uploaded them to Google Docs.

Works perfect for the person on the move!

I work at a Homeland Security facility in Williston, and one way in which they like to waste us taxpayers' money is to shift people around in different cubicles, for no apparent reason.  Some people have been moved 3 or 4 times in the year that I've been here!

Copying the "favorites" (or "bookmarks" in Firefox) HTML file is one trick we've learned to lessen the disruption.

GamingWeasel, Where do you work?  I work in the Comm Center there 2nd shift.  It does get old moving around 4 times this year!!!

I work for a company contracted to ICE-DHS, at the the Fugitive Operations Support Center.  Us contractors get moved around less than the government people fortunately.

There are a few people here in my unit who used to work at the LESC, who got laid-off when a contract got cancelled.  Do the names Olivia, Marc, or Donna ring any bells?   I wont give last names. ;)
