Alice (Davis) Ovitt Marcotte, 92 of Fairfax, Vermont. – passed away at her home with loving family at her side on July 8, 2014.
Alice was very caring and loving person. She enjoyed watching her family grow in all aspects of life. She was pre-deceased by husbands Derrell Ovitt (1977), and Leo Marcotte (2012).
She leaves behind her family of six children. Kathleen Upton, Mike Ovitt and wife Marge, Randall Ovitt and wife Nancy, Mark Ovitt and wife Laura, Craig Ovitt and wife Terri, Audrey Maloney and husband Dan. She loved and cared for all 11 of her grandchildren. Michael Upton, Tim Upton, Louise Larvik, Braylyn Ovitt, Courtney Ovitt, Randy Ovitt, Jeff Ovitt, Sarah Ovitt, Jennifer Ovitt, Kristy Maloney and Cory Maloney. Although all were her love in life, her two grandchildren Kristy and Cory Maloney (caregivers) held a special place in her heart.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours Sunday July 13, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main St. Fairfax, VT 05454. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Church of Fairfax, Fairfax, VT 05454.
