Pfanstiel – Dziedzic
Thea Whitcomb of Fairfield and Lee and Diane Pfanstiel of Fairfax are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Pfanstiel of Fairfield, to John Dziedzic of St. Albans, the son of Daniel and Michele Dziedzic of St. Albans.
Miss Pfanstiel is a 1999 graduate of Bellows Free Academy and is currently employed as a manager at Fashion Bug in St. Albans.
Mr. Dziedzic is a 1993 graduate of Bellows Free Academy, received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Johnson State College in 1997, and has earned an honorable discharge from the United States Coast Guard in 2002. He is currently employed at the U.S. Border Patrol Sector Headquarters in Swanton.
The couple resides at their home (and organic farm) in Berkshire.

The bride wore a white strapless A-line gown. The groom wore a black morning coat with gray striped trousers and an ascot necktie.
The Maid of Honor was Angela M. Eastman. She wore a cranberry red spaghetti strap gown. The bridesmaid was Melissa Guzik.

The bride graduated from Bellows Free Academy Fairfax in 2000, and from McGill University in Montreal Quebec Canada in 2004. She is currently employed as a Para-educator at BFA Fairfax and is a writer for the St. Albans Messenger.
The groom graduated from Bellows Free Academy Fairfax in 1997, and from UVM in 2003. He is currently employed at New England Financial in Colchester.
The newlyweds have made their home in St. Albans.

Henry and Shirley Cota celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 23 at a family dinner at Windjammer Restaurant in South Burlington.
Henry Cota of Westford and Shirley Weston of Essex Center were married Oct. 23, 1954, in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Essex Junction.
They have three children, Debbie and her husband, Don Fleming, of Fairfax; Wayne Cota and his companion, Ann Gould, of Essex; and Dottie and her husband, Steve Jangraw, of Georgia; and seven grandchildren, Jason, Justin and Jesse Fleming; Jeannette, Katie and Stephanie Jangraw; and Ashley Cota.
Mr. Cota owns and operates Weston Pulpwood Sales of Essex and Mrs. Cota is a bookkeeper for the business.

SWANTON -- Christina L. Loiselle, daughter of Norman and Connie Loiselle of Swanton, and Nicholas R. Hogle, son of Rick and Alana Hogle of Swanton, were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 2004.
The double ring ceremony was performed by Marcheta Townsend at Lise Loiselle's farm house, grandmother of the bride, at 1 p.m.
The bride's attendants were Alita Potts, friend of the bride; Nicole Loiselle, sister of the bride; Lindsay Hogle, sister of the groom; and Jessie Loiselle, sister of the bride. The Maid of Honor was April McCurley, friend of the bride. The girls all wore long wine dresses with silver and garnet accessories.
The Best Man was Eric Favreau, friend of the groom. Ushers were Mike Potts, friend of the groom; Lee Godin, friend of the groom; Travis Loiselle, brother of the bride; and Tim Holmes, cousin of the groom. The guys all wore black tuxedos with wine vests and bowties.
The bride's mother wore a long black dress with silver accessories. The groom's mother wore a black pant suit with gold accessories.
A reception was held at the same place as the wedding, with music provided by Annie Rheaume.
The bride graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School and is currently employed at SCOT in St. Albans as a Data Entry Clerk.
The groom graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School and is currently employed at Fairfax Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Tech and is also attending Burlington Aviation Tech School to attain his A and P License.
The couple left for a honeymoon to Barbados, which was rerouted due to Hurricane Ivan to Costa Rica. The couple has made their home in Franklin.
