I had a frost on the truck window this morning. Heavy enough so I had to scrap.

No worry's Dave's job is secure. With 808 views on Henry's site we should be looking good. I haven't got the word to stop selling yet so there is still a chance to get a ticket.

Thanks for all of the support

One thing I saw in the minutes was that Fire had not send in a letter on the road standards. I dropped off our reply to the new standards on 9/8/10 in the a.m. there was a copy addressed to the Selectboard, The DRB , and the Zoning administrator.
We are very concerned with road standards in town, if we can not get to a address we can do no good. That is why I went to meetings for 2 years when I became Chief to make sure our road standard are wide enough to allow access for our equipment if needed. I understand wider roads in developments will cost more money to develop. And may loss the small town feel. But I hope to never again loss a building, property or a life because access is limited.

Always remember vote early and vote often !!!!

If you don't vote, you can not complain. You are not part of the process.

No Mike you are right. A lot of the tankers on the market today are Pumper/Tankers. When we where looking to order this truck we went with a plain old Tanker (water hauler). It saved a lot of money ($40,000) ,we have 2 real nice pumpers, it keeps the truck shorter to get around on our narrow roads,  and this tanker will have a onboard portable pump that can either be used to fill it back up with water or hitch to the tank and be used to pump the tank out.

Henry I know you showed there business card in a post once before but could you do it again. I,ve got 2 valleys between my garage and house roofs that keeps leaking. I have been up there 3 or 4 times to fix it, my coats of tar seem to last about a year. Need someone better at roofing then me to fix it for good.
