In my opinion, this is one of the busiest intersections in Fairfax.  The speed limit by Union Bank is 40 mph.  If you are trying to turn left or right, it's almost impossible to predict the oncoming traffic coming from Westford.

Henry,
I lost my Verizon connection today as well.  I was able to turn the switch off and then back on and everything came back.  Guess I was lucky. -Karen

Sorry for the miscommunication, however, this is Windsor High School's football field.  You can see the scoreboard and two yellow goal posts.  They have a red, rubberized track around the football field with a nice fence and large bleachers to the left.  Not much is visable.  Also to the right is soccer and field hockey fields.

Update:  We were able to purchase school supplies, items for Woodstock food shelf, and a monitary donation will be made to the Woodstock football team.  The flooding took equipment down the river, including their five man sled.  Their practice field is completely covered in mud.  With the rain that is predicted on Sunday and Monday, I can't imagine who could take much more.

If anyone would like to contribute to a food drive, we will take non-perishable goods between 10:30 am - 3:00 pm.  Check in with Kim Combs, our on-site coordinator at the Fairfax Rec Park.  We are creating a pallet to put all donations on.  Monitary donations may be made to Woodstock Football; see Kim.

Another way to help, is to come to the game and support your local Bullets football.  Opening game of the season; kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.

Parking available at the school.

Thank you for your support.

We have had a nice outpouring of donations.  If you haven't donated to the cause, we are still looking for volunteers, food, and monitary donations.  Call Karen at 849-9200 x2050 or 802-338-7890.  Thank you.

if there are no snow days!

Henry,
I believe the bugs were flying ants.  They hatch every year.  I drove thru the ant storm coming back from football practice.  Actually reminded me of a snow storm.   I'm not too fond of the mess they made on my car.

Drove to Milton leaving Fairfax it was 92 degrees; arrived at my parents it was 66.  I came home to our glass deck table flat down in our pool, umbrella 50' down by our blueberry bushes, and I hear rumblings of thunder... again.  Any guesses if the glass is broken?  Heard five houses were struck by lightning; one in Fairfax and others in surrounding communities.   Former KMC Auto roof is all buckled on one side.

I've been wondering how many deck chairs will be in our pool.
