You had me at "donuts." Captivated me with apple cider, and all your great historical information/stories/photos.... Caught my eye with your maple ice cream creemees at the fair, and stories of growing up in the land I love. Thank you Henry, for a great community resource, and for being such a good neighbor, even from far away!

I always picture JoAnne out there with a big net, capturing her photos! Gotcha! Great work JoAnne! Thanks for sharing the bounty of beauty!

I shared the link to this on my Facebook page, and suggest others do as well. Someone's gotta know this guy, and it would be great if he could be contacted by the police. I like how his hands are up in the sleeves of his sweatshirt, so as not to leave an fingerprints....grrrr

I cut and pasted from Jeff's Facebook comment:
An update about Dick Brown. First thank you for the inquires, concern and prayers. Dad has made a miraculous recovery in the past 48 hours and is now scheduled to be released from the hospital on Monday if all continues to go well. He wants to pass along his good wishes to all and thankfulness to all for their concern and well wishes
(Good news!)

Thanks for sharing! Looks like loads of fun. Love the real-life math/science experiences that touch children's spirits and inspire them! What a great opportunity for the students at BFA. I'm sure they will never forget it!

He was my doctor for many years too. I remember him being a friendly kinda guy. It wasn't scary to go to the doctor's office, and it was fun to say his name.

It is on Lost Nation Road. I have stopped and taken many photos there before. There are interesting signs in the fields and property around the rock too. Suzy

This just disgusts me! Robbing an 89 year old man and his wife with dementia....What the hell? People have no conscience any more? I'm sorry, I don't mean to rant, but I don't quite know what else to do. Robbing someone is bad enough, I just couldn't imagine the cowardice of the slimeball that did this... I really REALLY hope this guy gets caught and put in the public stockade where everyone has an opportunity to give him a piece of their mind. I wonder if he would have an ounce of shame? Thanks for letting me vent. I hope you all have a great day, and I especially wish the Vermont State Police extra luck finding this Loser.

I think this was my first waitressing job! I was a volunteer of course, but I remember helping wait tables for this about thirtysomething years ago~ in the old gym at BFA. Hope everyone had a great time! Suzy
