The 105th annual Alumni Banquet will be held on Friday, June 12th in the Richard A. Brown Memorial Gymnasium at BFA. There is a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 in the lobby,- more information to follow.. If you are having a reunion and would like a reserved table just let us know . Why doesn't the town let the people take over as we have asked -- Why is it that money is being spend with no accountability why have we paid for the "drain" to be repaired/replaced/upgraded for 5 yrs in the budget yet not 1 has been done??  Why cant we use the wells that they have already drilled (because they are all under the assumption that they are not enough gpm because of FALSE information giving to our "select" board members that are not also water employees???  there are mllions of WHY's on this water dept!!!  NO one questions them...

For all the families taking part in family picture day can't wait to get the opportunity to photograph you and yours!
The background this year will have blues pinks and purples in it. It's best to coordinate outfits that somewhat blend into the background so we notice faces the most! Try to coordinate outfits as well with in the group so no one stands out more than the others. Women please wear some makeup especially in eye and lip areas. BOTTLE DRIVE SATURDAY March 21st...help support the BFA class of 2015 Project Graduation ..bottles can be dropped off between 9 and 1 at Minors Store in Fairfax...also if kids and parents are around Saturday am to do some collecting, meet at Minors Store at 9 am. Thank you for your support!!

Hi Parents,Teachers,Admin,and Community Members

I want to take the opportunity to inform you of all the stuff the PTSA is doing in the next few weeks:

March 16th-thru- 27th - Coin Drop - WEEK #2 We are looking to collect $1200.00 in coins

 Our school is participating in a classroom coin drive called the Coin for a Day Challenge. Each day represents a different type of coin. The Classroom generating the highest overall total will receive: Getting to Silly String the Principal (Yes you heard it here!! Mr Walsh will be getting silly stringed !!) and the Teacher will receive $25 worth of books for the classroom.

There will also be a prize for the classroom with the most unique storage container for their coins.

And some other Surprise prizes will be awarded as well

    Penny Monday

    Nickel Tuesdays

    Dime Wednesdays

    Quarter Thursdays

    Any Coin/Cash Fridays

    Or Any kind of coin/cash any day is completely OK.

The coins collected will go to the All-for-Books program (the amount we collect will be matched by Scholastic and a Donation to needy children in books will be given in our name)  and included into our total for the Book Fair.

On March 28th there will be a Full Bookfair to end our Book challenge at the school please come and support us! 10-12ish in High School Lobby. Great stuff for that Easter Basket!!!

April 9th - PTSA Monthly Meeting to discuss upcoming events 6:30-8pm

April 18th -Sap Run in Fairfax -- The PTSA is co-sponsoring this event with the Fairfax Rec Dept.  Come Run or Help out with the event should be fun for all!!! Kids fun run starts at 9am -- look for more details coming soon!! If you would like to volunteer email the fairfaxbfaptsa@yahoo.com

May 4th -8th - Teacher Appreciation Week -- Spoil our teachers with food and gifts!!  If you would like to help out with this event please come to the meeting April 9th 6:30-8pm in the Library  or email the fairfaxbfaptsa@yahoo.com if you would like to help out with this event

We are also planning a Special Day to appreciate our Bus Drivers.- event details to follow -email the fairfaxbfaptsa@yahoo.com if you would like to help out with this event

****Did you know - So far this year we have helped pay for or paid totally for: a Magician /Had a Book Fair/Open house meal for the teachers/ a bus to Maine for Drama / Put on a Free Harvest Party for the community /Did a Hat,Mitten & Coat drive/ Helped a Student to England / 2 Free Movie Nights / Auction Night .. and contributed to the Community garden among other things.

Can’t figure out what to get that hard to buy for parents, grandparents, godparents or siblings?

The PTSA is offering you – with none of that department store waiting a chance to get your family pictures taken for Easter or that up coming birthday. Pictures will be taken at BFA Fairfax Drivers Ed Room.

March 28th 2015

Packages run between $55-$125

To get a form emailed (:tsbuckeyes@comcast.net) by March 20th 2015.
