I've been in Fairfax now for 3 years, each summer I see multiple kids jumping off the 104/Goose Pond Rd bridge into the river on these hot days....is there a history of this?  How deep is that water there?  Rocks?  Just concerned

Current News & Events / Bottle Drive?

Hey All,
My wife and I were at the hospital having a brand new addition to the population in Fairfax this weekend.  My family is up from Mass and mentioned that two younger guys came to our door saying they were involved in a bottle drive...they showed up in a pick up truck.....my family mentioned that we were not at home and they new nothing and were sorry we couldnt contribute at this time and to come back........does anyone know of a bottle drive within Fairfax?  Just checking to see if this was for real or a potential scope of the area?  Thx All

Current News & Events / No Power Downtown

Just heard downtown area, Minors, J&L, the daycare, all dont have power this morning.  Not sure whats going on, but I'm guessing if the outage is hitting Henry, this is the reason we arent hearing about it.  I have power here down off of Shepardsons Hollow Rd.  Time will tell I guess

I live in fairfax and I'm somewhat new to the area. I know this site to be a great way to receive information regarding our community.  Could someone point me in the right direction, on election day, where would my wife and I go to vote and at what times are the polls open.  Thank you

My family and I moved into Fairfax in late Aug of this yr.  I am looking for places to ride ATVs, snowmobiles, and dirt bikes..... are there set legal areas where my friends and family can safely ride in the area?
