Lots of Excellent Discussion -- No Easy Answer
Solar and Tidal Forces are never-ending sources of energy -- but the investments are lacking.. Vermont seeking Solar solutions, but here in the Sunshine State. A State with massive geographic areas suitable to building hectares of solar panels --lack Solar Solutions It's flat, sandy, no freezing conditions, with major metro areas nearby .. Layout the panels and generate some wattage --- but -- No .. doesn't happen -- How about Texas -- --- nope -- Why can't these projects catch on ??

Henry, Thanks for every thing --- Glad the weather is holding up too .. I'm curious --- Have you gotten that big wind out of the north yet ? The wind you use to assist your lawnmower with blowing your leaves in to the cornfield in your backyard ? Just wonderin' if you have thie fall chore accomplished yet ? Stay warm, stay safe, stay busy --- keeps you young and healthy --- Mike M --

Dick and all,
More on Hurricane Charlie -- As Dick has already indicated, the path was projected to move due North -- along the western coast of Florida with a projeccted landfall at Tampa Bay .. moving straight up the bay and into Town-Down Tampa ... At the time, Tampa was targeted as a direct hit, but only certain coastal locations were given mandatory evacuations. My home, 9 miles North of Town-Down, was not in a mandatory evacuation zone. If Charlie had proceeded as forecasted, the city of Tampa would have devastated, my home would have been desrtoyed. The total monetary damage, within the Tampa Bay region, would exceed those incurred by Hurricane Andrew. I've lived in Tampa for 20 years now, this has been the only 'scare' in the area, Tampa continues to dodge the 'Big-One'. Charley was the 'Big-One- that turned east.......

Was this baler equipped with it's own gasoline engine ? ( Gray in color ) I don't think PTOs were used for these models --- Looks like the the engine was removed ?? And nice old lawn mower on top too Mike M

Outstanding Work David S and Team ...
Maybe David should create his own show on PBS, "Saving Old Farm Equipment" hosted by David Shea.

What does the bank plan to-do with with this 'Prime-Location' ?? Anyone know the Zoning Classifications ?
Note from a historically perspective .. I clearly remember Leonard ( Mr Ramsey ) walking back and forth from his house to the garage, he used a path in the junk yard, weaving around junk cars ... Interesting how this property has evolved from a local owned junk yard / garage to a nicely appointed lot with a ton of potential.
My classmate worked part-time for him too, Eric Mayor ...

From a planning perspective, I know the preservation group in Richmond were successfull saving a historic barn on Rt 2. The CFC team may want to contact them for tips and hints.
it goes without saying, this beautiful and historical building should be preserved/renovated such that the entire town can benefit. Rev Griffin mentioned earlier, the concept of Multi-Generational .. I feel this is a vital ingredient as well ... The facility's future shoud serve multiple organizations.
Finally, from a revenue perspective, the meeting space could be adapted for corporate meetings, I know the old barn on RT2 has been used for this purpose too. Not sure about their success rate ...
Good Luck, I'm sure you will be able to acquire the needed funds.

New York Football Giants -- all the way -- 28-17
And .. I still own a Giants jacket, bright Blue Satin Finish -- although it doesn't fit me -- my 8th grader wears it during games.

Interesting Stuff .. from my perspective our Seniors do a good job of monitoring Themselves ---
--- I drive in annoying heavy traffic everyday, but I'm seeing an increase in fender-benders --- rear-end accidents Gotta Assume TEXTING is the cause ---
From my perspective -- texting and driving is a REAL problem --- I'm not sure of the fix -- but this should be addressed by our appointed government officials -- leave the Seniors alone -- Go after the TEXTers ---
My 2 Cents --- Driving well at 52 and with ONE Functioning Eye -- and No Accidents since the late 70s.......
