The fantastic BFA Class of '79 is holding a 40th reunion on Saturday June 1st at Steve Clokeys place in Jeffersonville...Hope to see you there.

James Lee Sizen
James Lee Sizen, 51 of Nampa passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013. He was born October 18, 1961, in Vermont, the son of Gary and Kathryn Sizen. He has two brothers, Daren and Shane, both of Vermont, and families and relatives. After high school he joined the Marines. He has three children: Jason, Chris, Tina, and grandchildren. He moved to Emmett , Boise, and then Nampa. He worked as an electrician for the Simplot Company. He leaves his wife Susan, and step-children, Matthew and Katie Testa, Ruth Curran and Jacque Curran. His final wish was cremation and for his ashes to be sent to Vermont, and that no services be held. He was preceded in death by a niece and his parents. His ashes will be spread beneath a tree on the family farm in Vermont. Arrangements are being provided by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300.

Thank you Suzy for keeping this in everyone's mind and hearts. We have certainly seen a number of great donation items but it would be nice to see greater support from the businesses in and around Fairfax, a town to which Dick Brown gave so much, Jeff Meunier and J&L Hardware have stepped up, we certainly would like to see others do the same.We also would love to see as many people come, and have some fun, as is possible. I believe there is a group working on something for early May, they plan to go public with the information in a few days after they get some organizational pieces in place.Keep watching for the info.

Henry I agree on a number of points. I've created several websites, including the Class of 79 one, on free host sites.I could only imagine what I could do for $9000!!! Certainly all the town would need is to buy a domain and perhaps give a small stipend or internship for someone(s) to maintain it weekly. What does BFA do for the school site? Surely they don't spend 9G's on it.
I also agree you are a treasure. I long ago moved away from Fairfax but I still consider it "home" and with out this website(s) I'ld be lost! I learn so much and keep in touch with the town and state because of you. I can't imagine what it would be with out it.I'm glad to hear your planning for it to continue for a long time but I certainly hope the same applies to you too! Thank you so very much for providing all of us this town treasure of history!

Hi Everyone, The Class of '79 is having their 30th reunion this month.The dates are Friday the 28th to Sunday the 30th.We are gathering at Dunmore Acres located on Lake Dunmore in the Middlebury area.We're having a "formal" dinner on Friday night at the local restaurant Fire & Ice in Middlebury and gathering all day Saturday at Dunmore Acres. If anyone is interested, some class members planning a 30th reunion will be meeting tonight (Tuesday) at the Windjammer in Burlinton ( 1076 Williston Rd) starting at 5:30ish if anyone is interested you are welcome and encouraged to attend.
