Saw a dog on our lawn a few seconds ago looked like a dalmation mix. Had a red collar on. Trotted down huntville.

Franklin Fire Department
ATTENTION ALL!!! The Franklin Fire Depatment is NOT going door to door looking for scrap metal or any other items. The persons doing this are NOT members and the State Police should be notified if you are approached by these people. Persons have been noted to be in a red 4x4 truck, a clean cut man and a thin woman age 30-35 with dark hair. Thank you, please pass this along to anyone that you know in Franklin that may not be online...

Current News & Events / Midnight wanderers

Be on the look out for midnight wanderers. I call them wanderers because they seem to wander into other peoples yards after we all go to bed. I have been visited twice by them. The first, there were uncharateristic smudges on the cars gas door, then suprisingly the car would not start. The second, we woke up to find that the gas door was left opened. I have also noticed that the motion light has been comming on alot more since the incidents were discovered. It is unclear whether they stole gas since neither of us have been paying attention.

General Discussion / Fairfax robberies

Sunday July 26, 2009 there was a robbery on Mainstreet in Fairfax. After talking with other Fairfax residents, and citizens who work in Fairfax, this seems to be a  growing problem and concern. All the robberies point to the same group of people and same street and yet nothing is being done about it. How many more hard working citizens need to go through the emotional roller coaster of some criminal riffling through personal belongings and taking whatever they please? As a community, we should be able to do something
