The Fairfax Success by Six open tot gym 2015/2016 will be starting tomorrow at 9:30-11:00am. The open tot gym is a great activity for families with children under age 6 who want to get out when the weather otherwise doesn't allow outdoor play. I am the facilitator again for this season & look forward to seeing everyone have fun. Set up begins at 9am and cleanup at 10:45 (while we have "parachute time"). Location is BFA Fairfax Elementary across from main elementary entry doors.

I was hoping with last summers rebuild of the Southern half of RT128 someone would have thought to raise the road enough to prevent closing by typical flooding....was I expecting too much?

Just wanted to say my wife and I just visited the Country Pantry after giving up on the place 1 1/2 years ago and had an EXCELLENT breakfast & also met the new owners (of 2 months). Brought home a takeout menu and looking forward to ordering a pizza as well in the near future.

Current News & Events / Options for local tv channels without Comcast

Looking to pull the plug on comcast tv but keep the internet to start using either an Apple TV or Roku box.  I want to have local channels including PBS for the kids. I purchased a TERK omnidirectional indoor antenna and placed upstairs but receive absolutely nothing (country pantry area).

Not wanting satellite.

Any suggestions?

Had a woman visit our association today looking for bottles & cans "to fund an adoption". I could be wrong but thought she resembled the woman a year or two ago who was soliciting for some cause and then shortly after got in trouble for scamming.

Anyone know?

Noticed today on my iphone the 3G service symbol showing. Thought it was an error since I have never seen it until in South Burlington area but a friend confirmed it on his iphone. Progress finally after 2 years..

General Discussion / Looking for a place to target shoot occasionally

 Would anyone know of a place in Fairfax I could target practice with my antique WW2 rifles & pistols on occasion. I hear people shooting often in the area of 128 & minors store but don't know anyone. No interest in joining St. Albans F&G..too far to drive.

(40yo... responsible & firearm trained. Will not leave your sand pit, etc littered)

Looking for a book for my mother and thought I would ask here first before searching through Barnes & Noble used book section. They have none in stock locally or online. Amazon has them but almost half the cost more to ship.

Anyone have this book and wish to part with it?

General Discussion / AT&T wireless issues lately

Has anyone else in Fairfax been having issues with their AT&T cell phones lately? I have been getting voicemail with audible notification but no ringing is coming in. Calls out take multiple tries to get a ringing at the other end.

Spoke with customer service today and they show some network issues in VT but nothing specific to our area. Phones work fine in South Burlington.
