The University of Vermont's men's soccer team has finalized it's captains for the 2011 season, naming junior Seth Rebeor on Monday.

Rebeor, who graduated from BFA-Fairfax in 2009, was named a captain by head coach Jesse Cormier.

The junior defender will sport the captain's badge alongside senior defender Yannick Lewis, a three-year starter out of Toronto who was named captain during the spring.

Wow !!  Great honor for Seth , and also for his parents & BFA .  What a sign of respect for his skills and his leadership from his peers !  The only other captain in UVM sports from our school that I can remember was Eddie Hubbert ( '66 ) who was an All-Yankee Conference Goalie in 1969 . Dan Shepardson ( '72 )was an MVP on the Norwich soccer team in his senior year , but I'm not sure he was named a captain at that school . Congrats again to Seth and good luck to him and his team this year !!!

Couldn't happen to a nicer kid and they couldn't have made a better choice.
Way to go Seth!!
