I was just told by my son on his way to work there is a vehicle in the water so I called State police and they & rescue are on the way. It is at  Fairfax Falls.

Well, I missed that one to.  Went out to the living room and found my scanner turned off - I know I was asked about a call yesterday that I missed also.  If anyone hears anymore, keep us informed.  I just heard that the Rescue is clear of the scene as there is nobody with the vehicle, but that is all I heard at 9:35 a.m.

Submerged SUV leads to DUI citation

Police pulled a car out of the water at about 9 a.m. Tuesday, and cited the owner for driving under the influence.

A 53 year old Fairfax man drove his car into the water from the fishing access area off of River Road in Fairfax, said police.

The SUV was submerged, and the driver was not injured, according to police.
