I am happy to report that no pie was thrown at anyone tonight at the caucus and town committee meeting.

Lemon meringue and blueberry were the most popular pies.  Surprisingly, no one tried the maple pie.  It was my first order of business after the caucus, and it was good.

Now for the boring stuff...

Peter Fitzgerald was elected as chairman, Jay Rousseau as vice chair, Sharon Iszak as Finance Chair and Assistant Treasurer, Marjorie Ellsworth as Treasurer, and Frank King as secretary.

Sharon Iszak was nominated by the committee for the vacancy on the Board of Civil Authority.  Her name will be submitted to the Governor for appointment.

It's easy as pie to be a member of the town committee, all you need to do is email Peter Fitzgerald at petefitz_05454@yahoo.com with your email, address, and phone number to be added to the list.  I hope that if you're interested you'll let me know.

Elizabeth probably had the most important job of the night keeping those cub scouts in line.  We'll schedule a meeting in January to plan some activities for 2010.

Sorry Imissed it- Yes an event for the republicans is on my agenda- perhaps a 'chlili party' at my house to introduce my self and to get to know the wonderful people in this town who support all the Republicans in our state.

Eda - I saw a car with your picture and phone number on it in town today and wanted to know if you were running for VT House as a Republican? Where can a person find out more about your campaign and better understand why you are running for house?

Thanks,
Todd
