My grand daughter Nora, It’s one thing to believe that you’re blessed. But when you say, “I’m blessed,” that’s when blessings will come looking for you.

General Discussion / Suburban Propane scam
« on: December 18, 2013, 04:49:38 PM »
I am not letting them get away with this. I have contacted the AG and the Dept. of agriculture for help with this one. I want it to be public of what they are trying to do to me. I decided to discontinue service with them and go with a local company (at about $1.00 less per gallon). I called them up and told them to pick up their tank and credit me for the amount of fuel that was in it. They got back to me with a ridiculously low refund. I know this because I moved the tank with my own skid steer and knowing it capabilities in the manner of weights. My estimation is that they are trying to cheat me out of over $700.00. I did a simple internet search on the situation and revealed this is a common practice for them. So, Could you imagine the amount of people that have been scammed that did not have the ability to figure this out. I am an honest business man and I expect the business I deal with to be the same. I have made multiple attempts to get them to do the right thing. They refused. I suppose that would be an admission of guilt. It doesn't surprise me that they do not have a facebook page for me to post this. I am dealing with the St Albans office.

Current News & Events / New Owner
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:48:01 PM »
My wife and I went to the Country Pantry for dinner tonight and had a great meal. To our surprise we had discovered that the restaurant has been sold. The new owners took control on this past Sunday. After meeting with them and talking a bit. They asked me to mention the sale and introduce them on this forum. The new owners are a local couple. Their names are Jesse Willis & Cindy Sarault. They tell me they intend on making many changes gradually. I personally want to wish them the best of luck.

Current News & Events / I have heard ticks are bad this year
« on: April 28, 2013, 07:15:51 PM »
Learn this it will save a lot of misory in your life. Doctors at the Fletcher Allan hospital are trained to ignore Lyme disease. You have less than 12 hours to get it off of you.
How to remove a tick
1.Use fine-tipped tweezers to grasp the tick as close to the skin's surface as possible.
2.Pull upward with steady, even pressure. Don't twist or jerk the tick; this can cause the mouth-parts to break off and remain in the skin. If this happens, remove the mouth-parts with tweezers. If you are unable to remove the mouth easily with clean tweezers, leave it alone and let the skin heal.
3.After removing the tick, thoroughly clean the bite area and your hands with rubbing alcohol, an iodine scrub, or soap and water.

This is a bill that will allow VT doctors to treat chronic lyme with long term antibiotics. I am living proof that Chronic lyme is real and can be treated successfully with long term antibiotics. I started treatment 1.5 years ago and I have 40% good days and 60% bad days now. I have another projected 2 years of treatment. I have to drive to NH every three weeks to meet with my lyme doctor. This is very expensive. There are doctors in this area that know how to treat lyme but their hands are tied with the current laws. We need your support on this. Call your senators and say you support the treatment of lyme disease in VT.
