BURLINGTON -- -Erika Martin, an independent Stampin' Up demonstrator, said she and a friend will be giving out free hugs at 12:45 p.m. today on Church Street as part of the Free Hugs Campaign. They plan to do it once a month.

Martin said she will be next to the "big rock," outside and across from Old Navy.

Too bad that so many people are unable to do this - Lots of kids out there could really use a hug if those giving them wouldn't get in trouble for doing it.

So very true.  I wonder when the world will realize not everyone is a "sexual predator", just because they touch you with a hug, hand on the shoulder/back, etc...

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.
