Colin,

You can make it a clickable link by using the "insert hyperlink" button or by putting the link inside "url" brackets, like so: [ url] web address here [ /url] (without the extra spaces).

We have ordered a few times from FHOP. Several pizzas a couple of taco salads, plus several other items.

The pizza has been top notch every time. I feel it is a cross between Zachary's and Papa Franks (80's version). I love the House Special.
The meatball sub was amazing. The meatballs were sliced, so that was odd, but the flavor is excellent.
The taco salad is great, and they'll hold items that you don't like. Like olives. I hate olives.
Breadsticks are great too.
Mozzarella sticks were very good.
The wings weren't crispy. I like the skin to be crispy and not soft. But the flavor is good. I just couldn't get past the soft skin.
The garlic bread was Ok, but nothing I'd order again.

They've been open a week, and I think we might be "regulars" already.

Was not saying that people were petty etc, was just pointing out that (and there is a post or two that have been deleted from this thread) the message about salaries, unions etc being a burden to the community/schools  (and I am paraphrasing a post no longer here to cite properly) MAY NOT have been the ONLY message the two voted down budgets sent to the community.

Don't you hate it when you respond to a post and then it gets deleted so your comments are out there posted without context?

How is this possibly the only message that was sent? What about the message that the community wanted to be petty and vindictive against educators? What about the message that we simply need to be fiscally responsible, period.  Its not always about salaries, unions etc. Sometimes the increase in cost is simply about good quality education. The message we send should be about supporting just that, good, high quality education without the divisiveness.

Petty and vindictive against educators because we can't afford never ending tax increases to support a bloated budget that wasn't properly reviewed? The final budget that passed cut out thousands of dollars, with a large portion of that from programs that were funded but not used. What hidden account was all of this money hiding in that it wasn't found in the first two budget proposals? The lackadaisical way in which the first and second budgets were reviewed and proposed were a slap in the face to the hard working people of this community. But you're right, we just wanted to be petty and vindictive against educators.

I think this year's school budget showed that we need to spend a little extra money to bring in an independent auditor to review the school's budget. I have a feeling that it would find a lot more unnecessary and unused money hiding in the budget.

We've lived in this house since 2007 and last night was only the second or maybe third time the power has ever gone out. It is so infrequent that I don't keep track. Also, I forgot to say thank you for the previous information Henry. You're the best!

That would explain it. Very close to my house. I was surprised that the power went out last night because it seems very stable here and we never lost power all winter, even during the ice storms. I was very happy that it was restored within an hour of going out. Especially at that time of night/morning.

Did anyone else lose power from around 2-3am this morning? Does anyone know why it went out? There shouldn't have been any weather related issues.

My eggs were so good there on Saturday that I sent a shot of Rum back to the chef.

Maybe you're the reason why he couldn't cook the steak medium rare. :)

Not great. It's a little better than this morning, but not much. It just started snowing harder.

On a side note, I can't believe they they would cancel school because it was too cold, but not close them today when the roads are bad.

I ordered a pizza today and it was very good. It's the closest thing to a NY style pizza I've had since I left NY. The teriyaki wings were awesome too.

I can't believe we only got a dusting of snow after how bad it was coming down.

We went to the movies in Essex Saturday afternoon and were heading back home at 6pm. For most of the drive, visibility was virtually non-existent. It was a complete white out. I drove at about 10-15 mph until a car came up behind me. I pulled over to let them pass and then followed their tail lights at about 20 mph. Luckily I have studded snow tires, but they don't help much when you can't see the road.
