Item is 12-14 inches square at the wooden base. Top part is the cover. Middle part is white glass. Bottom part has a mirror.  Yes, there is a little drawer at the bottom in the base. What is it?

This unit harkens back to the days of cameras with glass negatives. Using this unit, you can touch up the negatives. Put the negative on the the white glass, have a light reflected off the mirror to the white glass to get a good view of the negative. Touch up where you need to. The drawer is where the brushes are held.

Thank you everyone for playing "What Is It?".
