To me the breed of dog looks to be a Puli, which is a Hungarian sheep dog. They typically have dreadlocks although those dreadlocks don't look like they have been maintained very much. I only mention it because the dog may not be as neglected as it looks.
I do hope the owner is found soon.

Have you called their (Ford's) customer service line?
I had a great experience calling GM one time for my 2003 Silverado. The 03's had a known issue where the stepper motors in the instrument cluster would fail. I had reported shortly after my warranty expired that my gas guage stopped working and they didn't want to cover it. It wasn't a big deal to me then since the I could use the trip odometer to have a sense of when the tank was getting empty (plus the low fuel light would still come on when I was really low). When I had about 80K miles on the truck I got a letter from GM saying they would replace the instrument panel for trucks with the problem up to 70K miles or so. Annoying, that GM wouldn't cover mine at the time, but I was able to live with it still. Then the speedometer went. I began using a Garmin GPS to determine my speed. Then the oil pressure guage went. All of this was fine with me as I didn't use the truck as much any more, and I had workarounds for all the non-functioning guages. Then my truck wouldn't pass its annual inspection last year (the mechanic finally noticed the speedometer wasn't working and wouldn't pass the truck).
I brought the truck to the dealer across the street from my job in South Burlington and they couldn't do anything for me, but they offered I could call the main customer service line. I called them up and explained my frustration with how I couldn't get a known problem resolved because I drove the truck too much (missed the warranty and then the extended warranty on the part). They were able to work with the regional manager and Handys in St. Albans where I bought the truck and they agreed to give me a new instrument cluster for free if I paid 1 hour of labor to have it installed, which seemed more than fair to me.
So Henry, maybe getting someone on the phone from Ford Motor Company and explaining your long history with the company and Paquins could help greese the wheels a bit in your favor? I hope you are able to come up with a workable solution for you.
Thanks, Todd

I may be biased because Aaron is my neighbor, but he has always been helpful when I needed advice help with the small chimney i have for my pellet stove.
He is very knowledgeable about stoves, chimneys and a whole bunch of other things (cars, carpentry, etc.). Aaron is extremely trustworthy and thorough in anything that he does. I would highly recommend Catamount Chimney Service.

http://www.wcax.com/story/19380570/race-for-franklin-countys-senate-seatsThis seals the deal for me. I will certainly not be voting for Joe Sinagra for State Senate on Tuesday. The creep purchased a rival's name domain (normmcallister.com) and redirected it to his own website. If you are voting in the Republican Primary on Tues, I urge you NOT to vote for Joe Sinagra. We don't need someone with his ethics representing us in Montpelier! Todd Baumeister

Rowdy Roddy Anode,
Do you know which school it was? I have no idea if there are multiple karate schools in St. Albans and if I should be avoiding the entire city.

Here is a link to their website: http://www.greenmountainbeefarm.com/index.htmlNicole and Mike are great people (except for the fact that Mike is a fan of the NY Giants). Mike led a lecture on bee keeping at the library earlier this year and I know the queen bees he raises are in high demand. Go Redskins!!!

I am not a resident of Fairfax, so I understand my opinion carries no weight in this discussion. As a resident of Fletcher, I am a daily user of this road and am impacted by the Fairfax select board's decision.
From looking at the report it appears that 85% of the users of the road travel at or below the speed limit. It appears that 15 people in 100 drive 55mph or more. The report also seems to indicate that the 85th percentile is on the high end for considering a speed limit reduction, but that there are other circumstances to consider. The report mentions that the line of sight to get onto Fletcher Rd from Swamp Rd is less than desireable.
The report states that 7 accidents occurred in the Study area between 2007 and 2011 (5 years). There were less than 1.5 accidents per year in the area. There is no indication as to how many of those accidents were related to speed. The previous post on the subject mentions a texting and driving accident and another where the driver fell asleep.
It appears that the Fairfax Select Board has decided to impact 85% of drivers for the sake of the 15% who speed. Do people believe this 15% of drivers will drop their speed by 10 mph following this sign change?
I imagine my signature on a petition is of no use in this situation, since I am not a Fairfax voter, but I would be willing to help gather signatures if a Fairfax resident would like to start a position.

Today is the last day to purchase 1/2 price fair tickets from LivingSocial.com.
Half price tickets paired with discount ride bracelets from Price Chopper sounds like it will make going to the fair quite a bit more affordable!
See you at the fair!!!
