I remember Mike Boissoneault talking about how bush pilots in Alaska call those "sucker holes."  (tiny glimpses of blue sky)  Mike always had a way with words.  I've memorized some of his funniest lines, but much of it can't really be repeated here!  ;D  I sure do miss him!
