A Grand Isle Slaughter House has been closed due to cruelty to animals - Fox 44 did not show video, just a few photos, thank God. Channel 3 did show videos and I had trouble watching. It brought back memories to me when I went to East Fairfield to Reed's Slaughter House and saw them butchering young calves. The animals are supposed to be unconscious so they will feel no pain when they are butchered - 'Nuff said.
