Congratulations Boys!!!!!
What a great game to be there to witness first hand.  Robbie Rinaldo pitched his heart and soul out 122 times up on the mound with some very nice defensive plays by his teammates under the lights in Montpelier!!!!
Great article in the Burlington Free Press, can't wait to see the write up in the Messanger today.
Enjoy the victory guys, you deserve it.

I totally agree with you MKR.  Mr. Clark played the cards the way he should.  Like you said the lawyers fees and court time from a sue happy parent would have cost us all a LOT more.  It looks like both parties did what they were supposed to do in this instance.

Both Virgil and Dale work at Lowe's on Shelburne Rd.  Great guys to work with, very down to earth.  I'll ask Virgil about his days of soccer glory when I see him next.

Pete, thanks for sharing the memories.  She raised some pretty good kids and it shows up in her grandkids too.  Her love will live on.

Thanks Henry, we had a great time and just a few laughs.

I'm pretty sure that anyone who attended a Mass Father Chant did his homily, conversation, with God will forget him.  He will be missed by many.

Current News & Events / Re: A Note From One Of The Deputies On Break-Ins

There has been some activity out here on Comette Rd. involving vehicle break ins.  One of our van tires was slashed Friday night.  We have been keeping our cars locked and the tire may have been destroyed out of frustration due to not getting into the vehicle.

Congratulations to everyone involved with this production!!!!
We went to both Thursday and Saturday night performances, they were great!!!  The kids kept the show rolling through minor miscues and some spot on alibiing.  The set design worked with the limited amount of space they had to work with and the choreography kept it flowing.

Again, congratulations to all that toiled both front stage and back, not to mention the pit band along with the sound and lighting!!!!

Just a heads up in regards to the reconstruction of Rt. 128.  If you see a green tanker truck headed your way, close your windows.  He is spraying down the surface with water.  I witnessed two times this past week drivers waiting at the temporary stop get a "little" wet as their windows were down.  It probably didn't help them that they were both on their cell phones at the time.

Current News & Events / Re: Four wheelers on Fletcher Rd
« on: August 06, 2010, 08:25:06 PM »
Found it interesting tonight at 7:00 when I passed Sheperdson going down Fletcher that there was a Franklin County Sheriff coming off Sheperdson.  Found it more interesting that on my way back up Fletcher, at 9:00, that I again saw the same, or another, Sheriff cruiser once again pulling off of Sheperdson.  Until this topic popped up today I can't recall over the past six months seeing a sheriff cruiser this far into the Fairfax backcountry.  Coincidence,,,,,,,,, I think not.  I think we got somebodies attention today.
