10-6 on my picks last week, better than the two weeks before. my prediction, eagles win super bowl, michael vick named mvp, all dog owners in us picket pro football.

its saturday morning and i just saw this post so i will wish margie a late happy birthday. mike i forgot when your birthday is , maybe you have stopped counting them like me. my brother says he is counting backwards now to see if he can get back to zero. i told him he should have started earlier like around age 35. any ways i have a nephew who was born on my birthday so i said he stole my birthday so i don't have one anymore. so i will be 47 forever.

i've had people say he doesn't deserve a second chance and others say he's done his time. he looks pretty good to me. wouldn't mind having him on my team. still a great runner. maybe he will lead the eagles in rushing yards if kolb is out much longer. any way i would take him on my team in a heart beat. maybe if they play cleveland the dog pound will attack him.

lamoille union, where my daughter just graduated from did not fair well on these tests either. my opinion is that students are not machines. they all learn differently and at different speeds. i also think this testing can put alot of stress on some students who may have learning disabilities. my daughter, who is a very smart young lady did not learn things as quickly as some and was always stressed out when these tests came about. we did not have these tests when i was in school, thank god. how would we have done on them ? i don't know. we had some of the best teachers in the state at BFA but would we have done any better ? first you have your very smart kids who learn easily, they breeze through second you got kids like my daughter who get stressed and may or may not do well then you got the ones who would rather be any where but school say nothing about taking a "stupid" test who really don't give a care how they do. by the way my daughter was accepted into lyndon state college, but couldn't get enough funding to go. she is now attending ccv in winooski and hopes to be a high school english teacher some day.

here's one for you. in may i had gotten up early to head from my house ( i live in johnson ) to my brothers house to go turkey hunting with him. i had been out to the car so my door was unlocked. i was in my kitchen getting a drink of water when my door opens up and in walks  some one i  have never seen before. he sees me and gets all nervous and says is this so and sos house ? i say no and he goes out the door and leaves. well the so and so he was looking for lives in the building across the drive from me and so happens to be one of the area drug dealers. now this is 3:30 am, so i don't think he was going to a barb-b-q. just wish i had my shot gun in my hands when the door opened he would probably still be running.
