Pictures of the Day April 6, 2009

The snow on Georgia Hill looked different than in the valley. Like there was more of it up there than down here.

YUCK!
Posted for Monday April 6th.......................
Sunday was a good day to crawl back into bed.
I thought Sunday was to be the better day of the weekend!
Where was the sunshine??
Sigh.

April can be this way. I remember back when I was working at Spartan Industries in the early 80's. It was supposed to be Opening Day for the BFA baseball and softball teams, and the game were postponed because we woke up to 4 inches of snow. I remember the date being around the 17th or something.
And then there was a Friday during April vacation that it snowed, and the road crew had to plow the roads. But as I was out and about that day, I noticed that under an evergreen tree, the grass was REALLY GREEN.
The ol' "Poor Man's Fertilizer" .
Both instances, the snow was melted before the day was over, much like Sunday.
