JUNIOR H. BURNOR SOUTH BURLINGTON — Junior H. Burnor, 72, of South Burlington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born in Westford on Dec. 3, 1934, the son of the late Henry and Theresa (Ladoux) Burnor. Junior attended Westford Elementary School and B.F.A.-Fairfax. He was married on June 4, 1955, in Burlington to Doris Mayo. Junior worked for Bouyea-Fassetts Bakery for 27 years and most recently for Champlain Cleaners for 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, his daily walks, and was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, and Duke Basketball. Junior will be most remembered for his strong work ethic and as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Burnor of South Burlington, his four children, Dennette Bissonnette and her husband Ronald of Winooski, Candy Lovejoy and her husband Norm of Winooski, Michael Burnor and his wife Janet of Hinesburg, Corey Burnor and his wife Julie of Fairfax; nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Junior was predeceased by his two sisters, Bertha Burnor and Rita Myott. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Burlington Fire Department, c/o Ambulance Service, 575 Dorset St., South Burlington, VT 05403. Visiting hours will be Sunday, Oct. 28, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St. , Winooski.
